ADRIANA ANDERSON
Adriana Anderson started her career in journalism working for a lifestyle magazine focused on the luxury market in Pasadena, California. She then took her passion for journalism to France, where she studied the French language at The Institut Catholique de Paris and art criticism under Evelyn McDonnell. She chronicled her adventures in a blog and wrote about food, music, art, architecture, and cultural differences whilst living in Paris.
Upon her return to California, Anderson began working for Los Angeles Confidential Magazine in their editorial department under the guidance of Alexis Johnson and Spencer Beck. During that experience, she was introduced to the art world in Los Angeles, and became interested in the unique (and sometimes burgeoning) artisan communities around her. From this, her love affair with art grew, and Anderson aimed to develop an expertise in telling stories about the people behind creative industries.
Acquainted with top contributors to the fashion and blogging communities in Los Angeles, Anderson finds herself attracted to the many events Los Angeles plays host to every week, and often writes about her experiences as a self-proclaimed "art fanatic" on her website, adriana-anderson.com.
Although a native of Los Angeles, Anderson considers her one, true love to be the city of London, where she studied as an undergraduate during university. She feels connected to the rich, vibrant culture of the city and all of its history, and goes back to visit every chance she gets. It is no surprise, then, that gastropubs--and pub culture in general-- became a passionate project for her.
With a growing focus towards multimedia journalism, Anderson is an arts and culture journalist with ties to many cities in the United States and abroad, and hopes to develop a career in digital media.
